THE DIRTY BIRD
This wake bait was the result of some late night conversations with Jeremy Anderson from Black Dog Bait Co. This was a flat out fish catcher on the Delta and Clear lake. Just over 250 were originally produced. These baits are made in small limited quantities, currently available by special order only.

THE SNACK SIZE TROUT
The original Snack Size Trout was the first bait that JSJ Bait Co. released back in 2006. Just over 1000 of the bait were made in both floating and sinking models, with both three piece and four piece versions available. The hope is to bring this bait back in an inject version some day.

THE PERFECT TEN GLIDER
This slow sinking 10″ glide bait with a distinct S-motion. Just over 300 were produced around the time I got very distracted by developing soft baits.

THE HELL FISH
Rip, pause rip, pause….Boom! The idea behind this bait was subtle movement combined with violent splashing on the surface. The results were a lot a big fish being caught on the California Delta specifically. Only a hand full of these baits were made – right around the 666 number of the Snack Size trout line up.

THE HELL BIRD
The Hellbird bait was the same bait as the Hell Fish, with custom bird pattern paint jobs instead.

THE HITCH SIX
The Hitch Six was the JSJ Baits introduction to the soft bait category. The Hitch Six was wildly popular and a pure fish catching machine, and producing these baits became incredibly time consuming due to the demand. Working with the PVC material all day was having some down turns on my overall health so I got away from it. This bait spurred the interest to start working with new materials.
THE SIREN SLIDE
The Siren Slide was my version of what I needed out of a glide bait. At the time everything was a super slow wide S motion. I designed this bait to be a lot tighter and more of a whippy action. This enticed more of a reaction bite from a glide bait. About 300 were originally made. By that time the market was flooded with glide baits and I was distracted by soft bait development.

THE TEN INCH WAKE TROUT
The JSJ 10″ wake trout was designed to be a super subtle slow wake bait. its size and presents in the water got destroyed. it even worked well as a dead stick bait. the consistency in action made it a great night time bait as well. about 100 of these baits were made and sold.

THE SEVEN INCH MINI WAKE BAIT
An exact, smaller version of the Ten Inch Wake Trout, fewer than 15 of these baits were made and sold either direct or through small stores. It worked quite well as a sinker as well on clear water lakes such as Lake Shasta.

THE HITCH SIX: RECOIL EDITION
This is the bait that caused me to go into a two year hiatus and down a rabbit hole of R&D. The Hitch Six Recoil Edition proved an entirely new way of bait pouring and production using a silicon mix I came up with. The tail design spurred enough new concepts and ideas I spent two years developing and testing designs. Since then I have created over 10 new proven tail designs that have never been seen. The split tail design on the Hitch Six Recoil works best at a super slow crawl and actually blows out when fished fast.
THE SNACK SIZE BLUEGILL: MINI
The Small Snack Size Bluegill was never brought to market. I made about five or six of these baits, and they worked incredibly well. I never brought them to market for one main reason: it takes just as much, if not more effort to make a small bait as it does a 6″ or 7″ bait. Problem is people don’t want to pay the same amount they will for a bigger bait, so it’s simple to say that is the main reason I never released it.
